Frequently Asked Questions
When does the course start and finish?
The course will commence only twice per year. While we advise completing one lesson per week, once enrolled it is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. The choice is yours!
Once enrolled can I take the course at my own pace or do I need to stick to the 12 week schedule from enrolling?
Once enrolled you can complete the course completely at your own speed. We recommend doing and completing one module per week but you can absolutely schedule your learning speed at your own pace!
How long do I have access to the course?
You have lifetime access! After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own as long as the course exists.
What if I am not yet confident with my drawing skills?
As part of the course, included in most watercolour modules are the exact templates that you will see Kerrie painting just to make life a little easier. You can choose to either use the exact module template and follow along with Kerrie or you can sketch out your own drawings if you are already confident in drawing.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
What currency is the course in?
The currency of the course is in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS. AUD$950 is approximately $639 US Dollars / or 583 Euros / or 524 British Pounds in total.
Am I able to pay over several months rather than in one go?
You definitely can! You can choose either a one off payment of AUD$950, or AUD$250 split across four monthly payments.
How much do the materials cost to do the course?
In general here are my suggestions regarding supplies:
Complete beginner: Materials should cost less than AUD$100 in total for watercolour supplies. Your spend on acrylic painting supplies will depend on the canvas sizes you choose. The first 70% of the course (until around week 9) is in watercolour painting so you also only need to start with the materials for watercolour.
Watercolour: I would suggest that you purchase only the basic versions of : A set of watercolour tubes, an A4 book of watercolour 300gsm textured paper. And a selection of around 5 brushes.
Acrylic: I suggest medium sized tubes of white, black, red, blue and yellow acrylic paint. (Basic versions are fine.) Two mini canvas's to test paint. And 4 to 5 larger canvas's. You can choose the size of canvas that suits your budget. Two or three additional larger brushes also if you choose large canvases to paint on.
Already an artist: You may already have some of the supplies on the list. If not you might invest in the level up from basic on all of the items above. You might also choose to paint canvas's the same size as mine in the videos.
Will I receive an official certificate of completion at the end of the course?
Yes you will! There is an option to both down load a certificate for the course as well as request a hand signed, stamped beautifully printed course certificate upon completion.
Will there be course meetups while I do the course?
Yes there will be course meet ups in various locations around the world while you are doing the course with both myself and fellow students that you can connect with in person in your area. During cohort one we had meet ups in Melbourne, London and Brisbane with many more to come.
